Brigit Van Graafeiland, DNP, CPNP, is a nurse practitioner at Village Pediatrics. Brigit received her Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Rochester. Later she received her Post-Master of Science Certificate and Doctorate of Nursing Degree from University of Maryland School of Nursing. Brigit began her nursing career as a Pediatric ICU nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital. As a Nurse Practitioner early in her career, she worked at the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. After working in private practice, she became an Assistant Professor at University of Maryland School of Nursing. She currently is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Acute and Chronic Care at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing.
